Tonight's Dinner Menu: Meatloaf

Tonight I'm going to  attempt making my mother-in-law's popular meatloaf! I've never made meatloaf so hopefully it turns out yummy!

Here are the secret ingredients:
1 lb ground sirloin
1/2 lb ground pork (Best if use Sweet Italian sausage)
1 egg
1 cup cracker crumbs (Butter and garlic flavored ones are best)
1 cup drained diced tomatoes (Best if use garlic and onion flavored)
1 medium onion
1 tsp seasoned salt (Best if use McCormic Season All)
1 tsp garlic salt
Green pepper

I dumped a can of tomato sauce on top, but the directions say:  Last 1/2 hour mix & cover with: 3 Tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tsp dry mustard, 1/4 tsp nut meg

Cook covered in a roasting pan with a lid. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Supposedly the leftovers are perfect for meatloaf sandwiches. Mmm... I can't wait!
