"In our age of email, it feels wonderful and special to receive a handwritten note, doesn't it? As much as possible, we make a point of sending thank-you cards, not just for gifts, but also for gestures of kindness, time, and love. I'm careful not to force this on my children, but to make it something they are motivated to be a part of." (The Creative Family, Amanda Blake Soul, page 15)
Writing wedding thank you notes is on my list of things to do. Although it's a task, it's something I'm looking forward to. I have a great satisfaction for seeing the completed pile of thank you cards. I bought postage stamps today. Now I must endeavor and dig in and write.
